The Cincinnati Police Department formed a Process Improvement Team to review the department’s Differential Response Program. Using 2008 data, policy changes were enacted to reduce unnecessary dispatches thus freeing officers’ time for more proactive police work within the community. The Friends of Harriet Beecher Stowe House, Inc. is a 501(C)(3) non- profit organization. The major focus of the organization is to enhance and support both community and historical activities related to the preservation of the Harriet Beecher Stowe House, located in the Walnut Hills community of Cincinnati, Ohio.
The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center has recognized the Stowe House as a freedom center/partner for its commitment to educating communities about freedoms.
