Harriet Beecher Stowe House

The Friends of Harriet Beecher Stowe House, Inc. is a 501(C)(3) non- profit organization. The major focus of the organization is to enhance and support both community and historical activities related to the preservation of the Harriet Beecher Stowe House, located in the Walnut Hills community of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center has recognized the Stowe House as a freedom center/partner for its commitment to educating communities about freedoms.

The Harriet Beecher Stowe House is managed by the Friends of Stowe and administered by the Ohio Historical Society (OHS), a non-profit organization that serves as the State’s partner in preserving and inter- preting Ohio history, natural history and archaeology.    For more information about OHS programs and events visit their website at www.ohiohistory.org or call 800-686-6124.
