The Cincinnati Police Department formed a Process Improvement Team to review the department’s Differential Response Program. Using 2008 data, policy changes were enacted to reduce unnecessary dispatches thus freeing officers’ time for more proactive police work within the community. The Business Group meets on the third Thursday of each month from 8:00 am to 9:15am in the Community Room of Douglass School (2627 Park Avenue). All businesses in the community are welcome to attend. Kenny Boyle, Steve Carr and Kathryne Gardette, newly elected Board members joined re-elected and continuing Board members: Kathy Atkinson, Roy Green, Barbara Furr, Roy Green, Toni Miller, Toilynn O’Neal, Fred Orth and Clarence Taylor recently for a morning of reflection and preparation for the coming year.
Each Board member will be serving in a leadership role on the Executive Committee or on one of the  standing committees as outlined in the Council’s recently revised by-laws.  Those positions are filled as follows:
